Welcome Students and Parents to Room B1 | First Grade Website

Hello! Welcome to our class website!  I am Ms. Pando and will take this opportunity to tell you a little about myself. This coming year is my 21st year of teaching and my 15th year of teaching for LAUSD.  I am originally from Texas.  I graduated from Smith College in Northampton, MA and started my teaching career a year after my college graduation.  My first teaching position was at a small school in a highly impoverished area of West Texas.  I taught there for 6 years before moving to Los Angeles.  I was at the Pasadena Unified School District before finding my way to LAUSD. 

Once in LAUSD I spent 7 years teaching at Norwood Elementary and then 2 years at Edison Middle School. I've been at West Hollywood for 3 years now and am looking forward to spending many great years.
